Royal Caribbean – Adventure of the Seas – Cruise.
Our second stop was the Island of St Lucia.
March 2011
In this video we see many great sites of St. Lucia
- Beach next to the Petit Piton.
- Stops along the road back to Ship.
- Marigot Bay where they filmed Pirates of the Caribbean and Dr Dolittle.
- Overlook of the Port and many ships docked.
- More refreshments also fresh hot bread with cheese.

This is the best Island Tour we have ever been on. We have been on more than a few.

Cosol Tours – we researched and found many good reviews for this tour group. We sent an email and received a prompt response and booked it. We were lucky enough to have a private car for our tour – the mini bus tours were having lots of fun as well.

We left the port at 8:30am and returned at 4:00pm.
For the money and experience and service there is no better tour company than Cosol Tours.
We were well looked after. Breakfast of very good local foods, made by a wonderful lady, Claudia. More than enough for everyone including drivers/guides
Beer/refreshment van was at every major stop and there were many stops. We were all well looked after.
I can not say enough wonderful things about this experience or our driver/tour guide Alex.
This exceeded all our expectations. Other tours could learn much from this wonderful group of individuals.

The Royal Caribbean’s gigantic cruise ship, Voyager of the Seas, is a technical wonder of modern times and also the largest ocean-going cruise ship in the world, a floating hotel complex that accommodates 5,000 passengers.

The pulsating heart of the ship is the 120 metre long Royal Promenade, a replica London’s Burlington Arcade, which boasts a splendid variety of shops. On decks 11 and 12, the popular Fitness Centre is the largest on the seven seas.

Particularly fascinating is the successful integration of three restaurants on three decks, an idea copied from the interior of the Paris Opera House. But the most unexpected attraction is an Ice Rink that is also used for International Ice Revues. The enormous atrium, with all of its glittering structures of chrome and glass, is like a futuristic work of art.

There’s even a casino which features Black Jack, roulette, dice, video poker and one-armed bandits and where those who are really lucky, may even win back the cost of their holiday.

With stopovers in Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel, off the coast of Mexico, a Sunday afternoon cruise on the ocean was never like this!

A few people have inquired about the cruise that Rick and I went on recently—what cruise line, which ports, and whether I had any pictures or videos to post. I put together a little slide show of our cruise for you. The first half is comprised only of pictures, set to music. The second half has some actual video of events that describe our cruise. If you are not interested in other people’s vacation pictures, this video is *not for you*! I will plan to post a recipe for a food or drink later today.
We flew from Lexington, Kentucky to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 22. We boarded the Grand Princess (of the Princess Cruise Line) at about 1:00 p.m. We set sail at 5:00 p.m. We spent the first 3 days at sea, before arriving at Aruba. Other ports we visited were Curacao, Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Kitts, Barbados, St. Thomas, Santo Domingo, and Princess Cays in the Bahamas. We had a great time in the 83-degree weather sailing, shopping, and visiting the beach. We have been to the Caribbean several times, so we were already familiar with most of the ports and some of the shop owners. We did see a few new places, but our main goal was just to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The 2 weeks passed very quickly, and we flew back home on December 6 to 18-degree weather with snow on the ground!
Thanks to all of you who did not forget me while I was gone! When I returned home and saw the huge number of comments you had left, it was very heart-warming! Thank you for being the best subscribers and viewers a YouTuber could ever ask for!
