Manchester is an entertaining place. We mean that literally, not figuratively. It is a city that makes a point of offering a number of explosive entertainment options, which is why it is now an established destination for travelers looking for a fun.

The heart of entertainment in Manchester is musical. Along with the university and football, music is Manchester’s calling card. It is hard to walk down any of the major streets without encountering numerous pubs and clubs that regularly host live musical performances.

Manchester has produced more than its fair share of musical stars and countless other bands honed their skills on the city’s club circuit. Today, you can visit Manchester to see big name touring acts, new bands in ascendancy and local talent that may develop into the “next big thing.”

The musical genres on display are as varied as the venues in which they are played. From pop to jazz to blues to R&B to the latest in rock and roll, entertainment in Manchester is decidedly musical in nature.

That is true whether you are inches away from a bass drum in one of the smaller clubs or if you are enjoying well-known hit tunes from a major touring act in one of the larger venues. Manchester is a musical epicenter and even the most discerning critic will find plenty to love.

You cannot live on music alone, though. Luckily, entertainment in Manchester is a full-featured affair. The city offers a slew of great restaurants, embracing food of all types and ethnicities. If you need a quick takeaway fish and chips feast, you have countless options. If you want traditional British fare, you have scores of restaurants at your disposal. You can check out an Argentine steakhouse, a Cuban joint hidden atop a pub or some of the best Lebanese food outside of Lebanon. It does not matter what you like. Manchester has it.

Once you have refueled, you can check out other elements of entertainment in Manchester. There is the hyperkinetic gay club scene along Canal Street. There are countless pubs featuring homemade brews and great company. There are “shake it all night long” dance clubs that rival anything you will find in the largest of cities. Manchester knows how to party!

Entertainment in Manchester includes some of the best live music in the world, great restaurants, outstanding pubs and a great club scene. If you are looking for a city that knows how to have a good time, Manchester definitely measures up. It may not be the first place one thinks of when looking for a place with a high-energy nightlife, but it certainly should be. There is never a shortage of ways for one to enjoy himself or herself in Manchester!

Enjoying Manchester is as simple as choosing from the many Manchester Hotels on offer. Most of the nightlife is in the city centre so a good choice may be a manchester city centre hotel.

Newcastle-upon-Tyne is situated on England’s North East coast between Yorkshire and Scotland. With the continuous growth in the business and industry sectors in the north of England, Newcastle has seen its popularity grow, with more and more people visiting each year!

Newcastle Hotel

Are you interested in spending a little time away from work and recharging your batteries in a lively yet relaxing city? Perhaps you have a business meeting or networking event coming up in Newcastle and you need a hotel to meet your requirements and budget? Searching online will save you time and money. There are a select few hotels in Newcastle websites that offer vital information on not only the best Newcastle hotels, but a whole host of other helpful topics.

A top Newcastle hotel website should offer the following:

” Information on hotels ranging from two star to five star hotels
” Newcastle weather
” Transport Details
” Information on what’s on in the local area – local theatres, restaurants etc.

Newcastle and what is has to offer

Newcastle is a busy place full of interesting historical attractions, an endless array of shops, several sports stadiums and helpful people. Enjoy shopping? The impressive Metro Centre in Gateshead is the largest indoor shopping complex in Europe, meaning you’ll never be bored! If football is your thing, Newcastle has one of the best stadiums in the UK and definitely one of the best atmospheres when playing at home.

If you’re exhausted from visiting all those shops, why not check out the numerous bars and clubs located throughout Newcastle? Newcastle has a reputation for hosting great stag and hen parties, so why not check out what all the fuss is about! Remember to try at least one pint of the famous Newcastle Brown Ale, one of the city’s most well-known exports.

Birmingham, which is situated in the West Midlands, is the 2nd largest city in the uk. indeed, the city’s vast population is 2nd only to that of london.

Most of Birmingham city centre was destroyed during the 2nd world war, and unsightly replacement buildings were hastily erected. despite this, since the nineties, Birmingham has been undergoingsome radical changes and a number of the post war buildings have been replaced. most of the city centre is pedestrianized now, and the canals have also been cleaned up to make them image prettier.

Birmingham is well-known as a national commercial centre & it has been named as the 3rd best bits location in england to locate a business, & the 21st best in Europe by a 2007 cushman and wakefield report. in addition to this, its also the 4th most visited city by overseas visitors in england.

People who are from Birmingham are often called ‘Brummies’, because of the city’s nickname of Brum. This name comes from the city’s dialect name, Brummagem, which is derived from one of the city’s earlier names, ‘Bromwicham’. there is a distinctive Brummie accent, which is typical of people from this city.

One of the best things about Birmingham has to be its great museums, galleries and attractions which are fun & educational for the whole family. one of the most interestingis Dudley Zoo, which is situated next to dudly castle & has some fantastic animals who live in 40 acres of stunning gardens.

Some of our other favourites include the sarehole mill, bantock house & bantock house.

Birmingham has a bustling city centre that is packed with top high-street stores, so it’s a fabulous location for fans of shopping to visit. despite this, serious shoppers might rather visit the city’s Bullring mall. in actual fact, the Bullring is huge and boasts 160 shops, which include some fabulous names such as principles, agent provocateur and skechers. its also has a massive Selfridges shop and over 25 restaurants, so you can really spend the complete day there.

If you’re lucky enough to spend the night in Birmingham, you should take advantage of the city’s fun night life. The city has everything from quaint inns & vip wine bars to enormous clubs, which means that you’ll find that there’s something for everyone.

Needless to say brum has branches of much major hotel chains such as malmaison & radisson sas. This means that you can unwind after your massive evening out with a fabulous rest.

We hope that you’ve enjoyed our guide to stuff to do in Birmingham & would appreciate your feedback. If you require any further info on Birmingham, do not hesitate to contact your nearest tourist information office who’ll be pleased to help you.

After going through the grind Monday through Friday, the week ends come as a blessing to unwind and relax. The best way to do this the last minute week end breaks. Let us examine some ways to make these last minute week end breaks even more enjoyable.

Internet – the treasurer trove of offers

A decade ago, last minute week end breaks could have been a tough proposition particularly with the tickets and accommodation. But the internet has changed all that. Within the comforts of your home, you can grab a number of competitive offers for a variety of locations. It is not just the hotel accommodation that can be obtained at a discount; even your airline tickets can be much less expensive. Just as in the case of hotels, airlines too love to fill vacant seats at the last minutes at deep discounts than carry empty seats. By devoting time on research, you will be able to explore places which you have never visited before, or be a guest at one of those luxury hotels which you always wanted.

Adding value

You can add value to your last minute week end breaks when you pay attention to these factors:

There are discounted week end offers put up at the start of the week itself in certain cases.
With adequate homework, you can spot one of these and plan your trip in advance saving the last minute scurry. Popular week end tourist locations may be going at peak rates rather than discounted rates. It is simply a demand and supply equation that makes things cheaper. Similarly, popular vacation seasons when families plan their travel in advance can be avoided for the last minute week end breaks. Check for the pricing at regular intervals and you are sure to find one that suits you over a few weeks.

There is a lot to like about spending your weekend in Victorian-era-inspired Bournemouth. Health benefits aside, you could be in for some big laughs and loud music at the Pavilion Theater, a surfing high at Boscombe’s reef or perhaps legit excuses to get busy at the Conference Centre. Bournemouth has gracefully adapted to the changing decades.

Bournemouth used to be a haven for the retired. Today, it sports a vibrant image that is just as hip as the disc jockeys and top bands that play on concert tours. If you are in for some serious party going, Bournemouth’s bars and night clubs will not disappoint. The place can comfortably accommodate 20,000 souls who want to groove the late night away with drinks and music.

The biggest seaside attraction on the Dorset Coast, Bournemouth is renowned for its summer-like climate, golden sands, beautiful gardens and lively parties. To many, the place is synonymous to a popular past time: fishing. Whenever you are in the mood for cod, mackerel, flounder or bream, go fishing and prepare to feast over your catch. You will rarely end the day empty-handed.

Chips and fresh fish are served at the seafront, and these culinary treats can perfectly kick off your mini golf tournament in the early afternoon. As the sky darkens, the energy in Bournemouth rises. Your options for the ideal stag party can range from wacky go-carting and competitive pigeon shooting to a reserved visit to the Oceanarium in the evening. You and your pals can even head to the Triangle, should you wish to check out the city’s vibrant gay scene at night.

Food is literally abundant in Bournemouth. To date, there are 250 bistros and restaurants where you can satiate your hunger. Everything you wish to eat from exotic Lebanese cuisine to fast-food mojitos is available here. Pubs and bars can quench your thirst just right. Take your pick from a popular chain, an upscale hotel or a themed pub. After a night of dining and drinking, you would probably want to retreat to a classy hotel or a backpacker’s hostel. Accommodation rates are at their peak during summer, but you can get excellent deals online when you book a room during non-summer months.

Bournemouth can be addictive to shopaholics world wide. It offers a wide variety of shops that offer you quirky gargoyle head souvenirs to designer wares. The Westover Road is a fantastic place to find boutiques, but if you want to engage in a major shopping spree, you can head 3 miles away from the city and into the Castlepoint Shopping Centre. You may want to linger in the Boscombe area to snag some antique items. Window shopping and strolling are ready options for the cash-strapped visitor.

Westbourne which is short for Western Bournemouth is a good starting point. Following the seafront eventually takes the pedestrian to garden chines. From West Cliff Promenade, you can also walk towards the heart of the city, marked by Bournemouth Pier. The opposite direction leads to East Cliff, where reasonably priced accommodations are lumped. The place is not that far from the city centre really. Places of interest in this part of Bournemouth include the East Cliff Railway and the Russel-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum.

When you need more action than the activities already suggested, there are a couple of places that you can conveniently access from Bournemouth: New Forest, Poole Harbour and Christchurch Priory. Without a doubt, Bournemouth is the perfect weekend destination if your idea of fun is something that is packed with action.
